Personal Qualifications
The MSc CAME Programme is a concentrated full-time course demanding a high level of application
and personal discipline. The focus on combining theory and practice means that regular attendance
and active participation in lectures and laboratory practicals must be taken for granted, and are
indeed to a large extent mandatory. This has practical consequences for those taking up studies:
It is not possible to follow the course while attempting to earn a living! Your financial
circumstances must be secure for the duration of studies. (You need
approx. 700 Euro per semester to cover the cost of living)
Practical arrangements such as accommodation, registration procedures and - where necessary -
obtaining residence permits etc. must be dealt with well in advance so that you can concentrate on
studies from the beginning.
